What makes an X giveaway easy to judge — and easy to prove.
The draws that hold up are the ones where every entry can be counted. On X that means replies: a reply is a public post tied to an @handle, so the picker can load all of them and anyone can check the pool afterwards. Retweets and likes are different — X does not give tools a complete, verifiable list of them, so a winner "picked from retweets" can never be shown to be fair.
So make replying the entry action. "Reply with #MyGiveaway to enter" gives you a rule the picker can enforce, a hashtag that keeps the pool clean, and a thread your followers can audit. You can still ask people to follow or retweet — just do not make those the thing you draw from.
